早稲田大学教育学部英語英文学科卒業。中学、高校、ビジネススクール、神田外語学院などで講師を歴任。翻訳者としても、大手企業や個人クライアント、ビジネス・IT・エンタテインメント分野など、幅広く翻訳業務を務める。また、英語学習メディアAtsueigoのAtsu氏とともに、英単語帳『Distinction』シリーズや『パラフレ英会話』（DHC出版）などの制作に携わるなど、英語教育にも積極的に関わっている。
